Hello, all! ;)

All this talk about a 45Glock suddenly made me wonder: Why all the fuss?

Higher pressure does not a 45 make? Is the 45 doomed to wallow in sub 20 kpsi?

But more importantly: Is there such a beast?

If there aren't any, how do you think it would do ballistically?

An inquiring mind begs to be satisfied...

Aaaarrrggghhh!!! :banghead:

Such mental torture... :fire:

A higher pressure .45 isnt' a bad idea. I like .45 Super/.450 SMC.

The thing is, the higher pressure equates with higher performance.

In the case of the .45 Glock, it seems that the only thing you get for the increased pressure is a slightly shorter case. The .45 Glock's published performance specs are not really impressive, from what I've seen.

.45 Super rocks. 230 grains @ 1150 feet per second.
