I own a Remington 760 pump action rifle chambered for the 35 Remington cartridge. I would like to load some 35 Rem cases with Hornady 158 grain XTP JHP bullets at about 1500 feet per second (or so) as target / plinking loads. .

Problem. As I recall, one of the loading manuals I was looking at in the store didn't have any loads for the 35 Remington. Another manual, the lightest bullets were 180 grains, and those loads were at 1800 fps or so, and went up from there. Spending $25 (or more) for a reloading manual, then finding it does NOT have the loads I need offends my cheap skate nature.

Can anyone suggest a reloading manual or another reliable source that would have loads for a 35 Remington with 150 / 158 grain jacketed bullets at 1500 fps????

My Hornady reloading book lists loads for 158 gr JHP. The lowest velocity for these loads is 1700 fps and the highest is 2200 fps. The copyright is 2000 but I'll bet it is still in the latest edition.

A 100% load density Trail Boss load (13.5 Grs) gave me right at 1200 FPS with an X-Treme 158 Gr Plated SWC.

I would think SR4759 or AA 5744 would do what you want with good fill.

Have any fast rifle powders?

Lyman's cast bullet manual, and Hornady's latest have some 150-158 data. The Rem 760 can digest somewhat higher pressures than the lever or semiauto actions but then you're looking for plinking loads anyhow. The cast bullet loads for 150's will also work with the jacketed or plated bullets in your application.

I once had a Rem 760 in .35Rem. I didn't like the ergonomics and rattling of the forend, and traded it.
I've shot .357" 158's through my .35's, but didn't care for having to resight the gun for 200grn loads. They weren't especially accurate either. I cast, so I now stick with my 220grn (RCBS 200grn FNGC mold) cast over 39.0grn of BLC2. Yields 2,050 fps and Sub 2moa accuracy.
Does everything I could ask of a .35Rem.

Edited; It was the Lee#2 that has the data I was thinking of. You can use the 150grn data. It's the old data from the IMR manuals they used to print. Also, check Hodgdons online data. This is mostly high end data. 10-12grn of Unique or 14-16grn of #2400 will likely do what you're looking to do.
