$350 Challenge

This guy was getting into the hen house, and the closest rifle i had was .270 mentioned in previous post... I got him with one shot at 75 yards, he was dead before he hit the ground... The fox will not get any more of my chickens at this point.

Just got a bow, 11 arrows, quiver, sight, case, field points and broad heads, for 300. My hunting license would be 16 dollars for up to 6 deer. I passed up a 200 dollar bow setup because I really like the bear over the other bow. My .30-30 stevens can be had for about 250 with period optics... ammo is about 12 dollars a box. A mossberg 500 can be had for 200 and can take anything that doesn't hunt back. Hell, I haven't spent 300 a year on hunting gear except the year I got my BP/.308 gun and it was only 350.
