.357 Ammo?

I started reloading in 1967 , two weeks after buying my first press and dies ... I bought a bullet mould !
That started a 50+ year hobby that I still enjoy to this day .
You might want to think about something like a Lee Hand Press and set of dies .
I reload all my handgun ammo in the house , sitting at table or desk ... the Hand Press doesn't even require a bench or mounting , you use it in your hands but it is a single stage reloading press with a primer seating attachment .
I've never experienced an ammo shortage in my life ... and ... being the master of your own ammo supply and running a little mini ammo making plant ...gives you a great sense of power and satisfaction !

Are you saying it only gave you paypal and venmo as the payment options? I paid with mastercard and their website shows a lot of options:

No, I'm saying they offered me paypal and venmo as payment options as well as credit cards. Paypal will not work for firearms related purchases and most sites that say they will take paypal for ammo or guns are scam sites.

You are rght about Paypal....however some people use FtoF on Paypal to avoid the PP restriction on buying firearm related items.

Like I said they take CCs and if you are concerned about that, don't bother ordering from them. You asked where to find and buy 357 Mag and I have given you a link. I have bought from them without any problems.
Calif., the FBI and the dark web (unfortunatly) know I have bought guns and ammo. 👮‍♂️🕵️‍♂️ they all know.

Hello. I used to setup online stores for a living. I would not consider online paiement options as scams, even if they do not offer credit card paiements also. Sure, scammers use them, but they are found out very quickly. Quite often new businesses do not get approval right away for a credit card merchant account, so they open with online paiement options like Paypal. Now, a new business might be a risk in itself, but I like to give a chance to the little guy... Online paiement services are generally insured, especially Paypal, so if the site is a fraud, you will get your money back, but you'll keep the frustration and loss of time. Merchants also like to offer many paiement options to get more business. Not everyone has a credit card or money on their corresponding account... You might want to check for certified merchants, but you must check on the certifying business' site, as a badge displayed on a merchant's site means nothing..

Last time I went in the Round Rock store they had a lot of Federal American Eagle 158gr. So did McBrides in Austin but this was over a month ago.

I just order it all online. I rarely buy it in person.

357 and 44 mag for that matter are not super common on big box store shelves in my area (Katy TX) but I wouldn’t say they’re hard to find. Never cheap tho.

I am thankful for the Members Only shooting range I belong too (ProShots).
They can buy ammo and sell it to us cheaper than any of the big box stores are currently, including Sportman's Warehouse.
Their big sale right now is Sig Elite 9mm JHPs for $17.00 a box. That's pretty good for them, I need to pick up a couple boxes next time I'm over there.

But Sportsman's Warehouse can get primers cheaper than anywhere else I've seen. I thought at first it was just what they had in stock at the time, and they wouldn't be able to get anymore, but they keep getting more primers in and I keep buying them out one brick a week, so I'm still buying Rems 1 1/2 for $44.11/k. Just bought another one last week and I'm going to try to get more today if I can get over there.
I will have to check ProShots for 20 ga next time I'm in there. I wanted to go shoot today but I sprained a bicep in my right arm lifting something at work I shouldn't have so I'm laying off shooting till I get that healed up. Glad I'm on vacation this week.

I can't even comb my hair with my right arm right now, but I guarantee you I can lift my CC to buy more primers at that price. :)

I'll get to use them, due time, due time.

I do reload, but don't shoot a lot of .357 or reload it even though I have a Colt Trooper in that caliber. I normally just use 38 specials.
This does explain why .357s are hard to find; Barmcd, you aren't alone. Three fifty sevens are loud and angry, I simply keep a few for the hiking gun, but otherwise much rather shooting some variety of .38s.

Another vote for Ammoseek, and TargetSports - even if you are not a member at Target Sports, if you buy most Ammo by the case it’s free shipping, which is a savings when the Fedx guy/gal is hauling lead
