.357 maximum web thickness vs .357 mag

The figures I have seen quoted for saami pressure on the 357 max are around 50,00psi.

Is the web area thicker than the 357 mag?

Also what are the similarities with the 360 dan wesson super mag?

any help appreciated.

If I had a 357 Max case I could measure it and compare it to a 357 Mag case and tell you, but I don't. sorry.

If you do, here's a way to do it.

Measure a Mag case and get the OAL.
Measure the depth of the inside of the case. Subtract that from the OAL and that is the thickness of the web.

Do the same for a Max case and compare.

You may have to subract the depth of the primer pocket to get the true web thickness.
