Is it the M203 flare launcher that Bushmaster makes?

Anybody know if there is something similar for AKs. You know, just to make the classic EBR slightly more evil.

Dunno, it's a Coast Guard approved flare launching device not a firearm and being on the coast it would be pretty odd to have declared illegal a flare launcher used by commercial boats.

But I guess it's possible.
