I have 115gn xtp bullets that I use to load 9mm. Could I use them to load .38 with hp-38 powder? what powder load range should I use? All I see is loads for 125gn as the lightest in xtp load info. If this is not possible I'm OK either way.

You can do it.

But accuracy may suffer.

And you may not have enough case neck tension to hold the bullet in the case while you are trying to crimp it in place.

Unless you neck size your .38 Spl brass with a 9mm sizing die in a separate operation.

With no crimp grove on the pistol bullet to crimp it too.

They will safely go bang though, if that's all you want.
