Not the prettiest picture in the world, but here's my .38 Super Commander. I borrowed the frame off my Combat Commander in .45 and slapped on a nice .38 Super top end I recently found. As expected, the slide stop doesn't hold the slide on an empty magazine, but there were absolutely zero feed problems.
The pic shows my first 6 shots out of the pistol about an hour ago, off hand at ten yards. Considering I can just barely see the black dot and the front sight at the same time (and both are quite fuzzy) she would appear to be a shooter.
Off to Brownell's to order up a 9mm slide stop.
