.380 95gr LRN loads?

I ordered some of Missouri Bullets 95gr LRN bullets but am having trouble working up a load. My books don't list loads for 95gr cast bullets for 380 (Lee, Hodgdon). Ammoguide doesn't have any loads either.

I've got some Universal around that's not planned for anything right now I'd like to use. If you've got a good target load (using Universal or other) I'd love to hear.

I load the 380 95 LRN with 3.0 grs of W231 Works fine in my Sig. I got that load from my Lyman manual.

Anywhere from 2.0-3.0gr W231 with Magtech primers have been fun for me and my friends LCP's with those same lead MB bullets.

Gun functioned down to 1.7g W231!

I (also) load 3.0 grains of W-231 using the same bullet, although they won't be MBC until I use up my current stash.

I'm using it with no function problems, great case life, and consistent accuracy for practice in a Ruger LCP. I do stay away from Magtech (CBC) brass because I have plenty of other brands stashed and have been told multiple times that the LCP is picky extracting the magtech ammo because of the "different" (?) extractor groove of their brass but believe if true it's limited to the LCP.

My wife shoots that load all day and the LCP isn't notoriously gentle. Highly recommend. Same load works great with 95gr. RNFP bullets some guy tossed me too.

What are you guys using for your COL with the Magma molded LRNs (MO Bullet, Dardas, etc.)?

Most of these will go though the LCP, what's feeding best?

I load that slug over R Dot, don't have the data handy. alliant has a site with data though.
my loads are fairly mild for practice.

Since you gavethe impression that you wanted to use Universal, Start at 2.8 and work up to where you are happy. Hogdon lists a load for ...

95 GR. SPR FMJ .355" dia. Hodgdon Universal 3.1gr= 814fps 12,500 CUP 3.5gr= 901fps 15,500 CUP .970" oal Just download a few tenths grain and work back up.

I just loaded 50 380 acp's @3.4gr. w 231 Speer manual max laod is 3.6 grs. w 231 3.4 is 5-6% less.

I use 3 gr. Of bullseye in mixed cases with an OAL of .950. Works very well in my LCP

I like soft-shooting, plinking loads when using lead bullets in the .380 Auto. My current favorite is the 95gr LRN bullet (Tennessee Valley) loaded to a COL of .950" over 2.7gr of either Accurate #2 or Titegroup. Clean, accurate, and the brass gets deposited in a little pile about 3 feet to my right.
