I just got a small back of 95gr LRN bullets. Want to load them for .380 and 9mm but my sources (Lee, Lyman and Hodgdon) don't have and data for that bullet.

I use 4.2 grains of Unique for .380's for a carry load in a P3AT. It's a max load, so start lower than that; maybe 4.0. For a little softer-shooting practice load, I use 3.0 or 3.1 grains of International (the same amount of Titegroup ought to work just as well)

I'm going to load some up using 2.5 grains of Titegroup this weekend and see how they shoot. That's pretty much a minimum load. I need some range time with this gun without bloodying my hand and without losing all my brass that gets thrown straight up and mostly lands 50 feet behind me.

According to QuickLoad, the max is 3.7 grains of HP38 when the OAL is from .970" to .980". At .985" you can go up another tenth grain. Naturally you won't start at the max; try 3.3 grain and go up or down from there. Also this assumes your 95 grain LRN bullets are the same size as mine -- they could be a little longer or shorter which would affect the load data a little (another reason not to start at the top.) Hope this helps :)

my 95gn lrn load is 3.6gn w231 (same as hp38), cci500 primer, col.950". runs 950fps out of my bersa firestorm. it's movin so i would start lower and work up.

I use the closest load data around. 90 gr . FMJ is what I'd published everywhere. You should technically load lead a bit lighter, since it forms a tighter seal to the bore.

I use the Lee 0.3 cc dipper with HP38 on my 92 gr. LRN bullets, and it works great.
