In real life actually I'm a wimp and most of my hand gun loads never reach anywhere near a max load let alone a +P load. Mostly because I load for target shooting and do not need the extra pressure on the gun or myself to punch holes. My idea of overkill is a hand full of extra magazines and hope I can reload the gun fast enough.
