Hi - I am trying to find swaged ball in .380 for my '51 London Navy (Uberti). I use Hornady swaged in .375 at the moment, but find that sometimes they creep forward in the chambers... not good. I know that I could cast my own, but would prefer swaged for accuracy.
The market for shooting products is very limited here in the UK, but I can usually get most stuff imported. Anyone out there know a source?
Also, one of my friends at the range suggested that chamfering the mouths of the chambers, like you might do to to the other end of the cylinder on a cartridge revo to aid speedloading (if we were still allowed cartridge handguns ) would make the .375 ball 'squeeze' into the chambers rather than cutting the traditional 'ring of lead' - thereby making for a marginally tighter fit.
Any comments? - all wisdom gratefully received!
