I have some 100 gr. LRN and can not find load data for it using the powder I have (TiteGroup & Green Dot ) and not in a position to order any new powder on line (cost of hazmat) and no place local to get some.
I only have load data for 90gr & 120gr. out of Lyman 49th

recipe
90gr. LRN Green Dot Powder
Starting: Velocity Max: Velocity
2.1gr. 655 3.0gr. 910
OAL .980

120gr. LRN Green Dot Powder
Starting: Velocity Max: Velocity
1.7gr 620 2.3gr 670
OAL .980

I am thinking if I use starting load on the 120gr. Recipe my bullet is lighter so according to my books I should get a higher velocity round with my lighter bullet and no presser issues
I am firing out of a Bersa Thunder 380
Any suggestions or thoughts

100gr 380

I have used 3.0 grains of Tightgroup with a Berry's 100 grain platted round nose with good results. These were run through a SigP238 plus a few other types of 380.

The above formula was derived from the Hodgdon online pages. It is a hot load according to the online pages, but this is what was necessary for all three 380's to cycle perfectly.

I would suggest that you start at 2.6grains of Tightgroup and see if your pistol cycles well. No use in breaking anything.

Good Luck

You can use data for a 100gr jacketed bullet as found on Hodgdon's website. Maximum load for Tight Group is 3.0grs. For lead I'd use a start load or 2.7grs and see if that didn't move the lead bullet at around 950 fps, the same velocity as max load does for the jacketed.

Allian 2000 free data pamphlet lists 3.1grs of Green Dot as maximum with a 100gr JRN in the .380 ACP at 955 fps. A proper start load -10% would be 2.8gr.
