I used to shoot 2.4 Grs of 700X or Solo 1000 with a Winchester 125 Gr. JHP, Fed 100 primer in RP cases with a medium crimp. They shot pretty well. Mine was a S&W M 33. A great little plinker that I should have never traded. The bore size was not .357. Its bore was more like .362 with .364 throats. It would not shoot .358 diameter lead unless I used Super Grex or homemade wax gas checks. You can get the right size lead bullets now. I have seen a link posted for it, but I do not remember which bullet company it was.
