I just got a deal on a 20 Gauge 390. It came with no manual.
When I reassembled it, it has a small (maybe 1/16") gap between the receiver and the rib. The barrel can move back and forth the length of that gap, against heavy spring tension.
Is this right? Or is it supposed to go together so that the barrel is solid against the receiver?
If so, any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!
