Anything comes off a polyethylene bottle. Permanent marker, glue, epoxy. Nothing sticks. If the label doesn't come clean off, just put some acetone on it. :)

HOW TO; 4lb, 8lb, and larger smokeless powder containers 101

Transfer a pound of powder from the large 4 or 8 lb jug to a suitable, properly labled 1 lb container.
This 1 pounder then becomes your "working powder" for your loading bench needs.

After loading, return any unused powder from your powder chucker back to the 1 lb working bottle.

Never return the powder from your working bottle back to the "mother load" in the larger container to avoid contamination.

A smaller working bottle is safer, easier to handle, and lessons the chance of contaminating a larger jug of powder.
The less times you open & close a big jug of powder the better.
If you can't trust yourself to properly lable & transfer a pound of powder to a smaller container, you shouldn't be handling smokless powder in the first place.

Big into little works for me

I save small bottles of the same type powder to decant bigger containers of powder. If I needed to relabel a container I would.

Not a problem if labeling is done. Why try and pour eight pounds of powder into a powder measure?

That Hodgdon jar with the Unique label is slick Gloob. I may have to try that. I do need an empty Hodgdon container though. I've got plenty of partly full ones.

Hey BeerSleeper,.. HaHa!, now that's funny!

As per the rules of She Who Must Be Obeyed, I must now confess that I plagiarized that from her facebook.
I would go so far as to credit it to her as a quote, but I'm pretty sure she plagiarized it from somewhere else as well (this is the internet, after all...)
