Expanding the Post about the 4 most popular American rounds.
What would you want in the way of 4 hunting rifles in the round you want? Money is no object since it's just a wish list.

1) Marlin Cowboy .38-55, I have this
2) Winchester '86 (clone) .45-90
3) Marlin Cowboy .45 Colt, I have a competition gun, this would be for hunting
4) Winchester 9422 .22 rf

Sarduy, those guns don't seem to be very practical to hunting, especially the .22 you picked out.

i know the .22lr it's evil looking but to hunt Rats, snakes and frogs is more than enough

Edit:

the AK-103 is great to hunt Hogs at 100 yards or less
the M4....well i can hunt pretatos with it.
and the remington...it's just a remington with a different stock (evil looking too?)

I think they might be a little hard though to be carrying around, that AICS stock looks like it could get in the way a bit. All that stuff on that M4 is a bit crazy if you ask me. I suppose the AK is a fine choice though.

i have to agree with you there...but it's just a "wish list", as for NOW...i actually use my setup,

simple M4 with a redot

1. Winchester Model 70 Featherweight stainless - with fiberglass stock which has schnabel forend like the walnut featherweight stocks - in .260 Rem or .308 Win. for medium-large game.
2. CZ-452 Style as the matching 22 LR partner to above.
3. AR-15 Carbine for varmints / medium-small game.
4. Marlin 1895GS for anything big.
