I have looked in all my reloading books and can not find a load for 40 cal LFP, 180 gr bullet. Any help where else to look? I am wanting a light loat for target practic...

+1 to Unique and 180gr bullets (hard cast lead or FMJ) in .40S&W although my Lee Auto Disk throws 5.2 gr :)

According to my old Lyman manual should be in the 25000 psi range so well below the max. They listed 5.8 gr as the max if I remember right.

Its not that light, I've mixed it in the mag with various factory ammo and its not that easy to tell which is which when shooting.

I find the "new" Unique is very clean in higher pressure rounds like the 9mm and .40S&W, still on the dirty side in .45ACP but the dirt is "sooty" and comes off easily. One powder for all may handguns greatly simplifies inventory.

Go with the starting load for and lead bullet and drop down 5 to 10%. Only do 10 and make sure they operate the firearm then load up for accuracy.

Thanks for the replys, I hope I get some for different powder for the 180 gr FP. ie titgroup, vihetovour N320, clays, I don't think Bullseye is really good for the 40 cal sence it is 40% nitro.....
