Bullet Points: The SIG has less felt recoil, points better (for me), and I still like the smooth DAK trigger. That said, the M&P is faster on target and I am able to get rounds on target faster. Also, the M&P is more tolerant of a slip of the trigger. In the 226's video you can see me throw about four shots south because I rushed the trigger; the M&P is more tolerant of this mistake.

I would give a slight nod to the M&P, but my favorite gun of the day is the SR9!!!

Thanks for the range report. I like my M&Ps too. Have you tried the Hogue Handall 17400 Grip? Cabela's has it for about $7.99. It replaces the backstrap and is held in place by the pin like the regular back straps are. I have attached a pic with mine. For me, it made my M&P which was already a great pistol an amazing pistol. Seems to have reduced felt recoil also. It changes the grip size somewhere in between the small and regular back straps. The grip has no slippage or shifting unlike many of the slip-on grips.
