4006 upper on 659 lower

Just got to thinking (never a good thing!!!). Would the slide/barrel/etc. of a 4006 fit and function on the frame of a 2nd gen 659? As far as I can tell besides the change in the grips/backstrap, the frame is like the later 5906, which is like the 4006 frame, all being a solid chuck of stainless steel.

no problem, I was just curious. I really like this gun though, especially the looks of it with the barrel bushing like a 1911.
