Has anyone used these bullets in a 40 S&W before? I have a Ruger SR40 and am considering carrying it as a side arm while hunting deer, here in Colorado. I would have a rifle with me for the actual hunting but wanted to have a backup just in case. I realize that a 40 S&W in not a hunting caliber but it is what I have right now. Something is better than nothing. Am working on picking up a 41 mag in the near future. Probably a Ruger BH. I am looking for any advice on preferred powders, recommended fps, things to look out for, that kind of thing. Or maybe I'm out of my mind and should stay home and reload more plinking rounds. 
The loaded DT ammo advertises 1050 fps. Do you think that the sr40 can handle it? Thanks in advance.
