Quick question for someone with a Mossberg Cruiser in .410: What is the length of exposed magazine tube ahead of the forend with the bolt closed?

I know Mossberg has discontinued the .410 Cruiser, but I managed to locate a NOS example for my Dad. It is on order, and will be shipped to his LGS. But while we wait, I'd like to make some progress on putting a laser/light combo on it for him. So far, a mount that clamps to the mag tube forward of the forend seems to be the best way to go. (see sample link below). I can find them on line, but I don't know how much mounting space I will have.

I measured my standard Mossberg 500E which should be the same since I've not seen different magazines for the 500E 410. There is 1 7/8" clearance between the end of the fore grip and the barrel lug. According to the Barska website the mount is 1.57" long. You can actually buy it way cheaper from Barska. Grainger is robbing people at $64 when Barska has it for $22.99

Here is a picture of my 500 so you can see.
