I'd been thinking of adding a large bore revolver to the homefront for sometime so when a Rossi 44magnum became available i willingly offered my seldom used 845 in exchange. I'm hoping to score a selection of 44special fodder at the weekend gun show so we can make a range stop afterward. the box of magnums that came with it will probably be the last it sees.
I was wondering who all here has any direct experience with this petite little snubby and wanted to share their impressions.

I've got one myself. It has been a great revolver so far. If you shoot magnums through it you will most likely hate it. It is a lot to handle and you're more than likely to flinch unless you're an absolute pro.

With .44 special though the gun is very comfortable and still sends huge chunks of lead downrange.

that's pretty much what i expected but i wasn't planning on using it for bear meat. it's mainly for the house and occasional carry when the mood hits me. i was impressed with its handiness and with the right holster it should swap out easily with my K-frame 357 even tho the barrel is a bit shorter. if we're lucky Rossi will market a 45acp version.
