Georgia Arms has 200 grain LRN for 19.75 per 50.
Try here, www.ammunitiontogo.com or www.georgia-arms.com either should have what your looking for at alot less than most local dealers.

Stay away from Georgia Arms - they will spoil you! They are an addiction - great ammo, good prices, and super nice folks, in person or on the phone. They also load new .44 Special Starline brass with the Speer #4427 200gr Gold Dot with similar ballistics to that of the CCI Blazer variants - and you gain great reloadable brass, rather than Al cases to recycle with your pop cans.
My gripe for them is the economy... Birmingham is ~100 miles from them - try to catch them here at a recent show. Still... once you use their product, you'll put them on speed-dial. BTW, they offer a listed +P .38 Special 158gr LSWC that is mislabelled - it's a LSWC(HP), a la the Remi R38S12 , aka 'FBI load', I keep my 642, etc, stoked with. It's in reloaded brass - and at a fraction of the commercial cost - good for practice.

I will definitely give them a call (GA) - Thanks for the info. I had a custom built Colt Bisley made up a couple of years back. Last ammo I bought was from "Sportsman Guide" about a year ago. Bought a case at that time at a decent price. Last night, I started looking online and got sticker shock at the current prices. One site I looked at had them for $45 dollars per 50.

Buy as much loaded ammunition as you can afford NOW as the price will go nowhere but up. Next step is to start learning about reloading. Aside from being the most fun to shoot revolver cartridge the .44 spl is a very reloader friendly round with lots of readily available loading information for mild cowboy action to hunting loads and everything in between. Prefect cartridge to learn reloading with - almost as much fun to load as they are to shoot!

Double Tap's .44spl is about $40/50. Looks like it's kind of powerful for a special.

Yes, addictive and expensive, at least initially. When you get the equipment you need, it can be the MOST enjoyable and satisfying hobby around.
I taught my cousin to reload his rifles and when he got his first deer with his reload, he was grinning from ear to ear.
Componets are a lot cheaper then reloaded ammo but they are going up also, almost as fast as factory ammo, you better get started whille the prices are down.
But beware, that shooting cast bullets can be addictive. Then you JUST HAVE TO start casting your own so you can save money..
My wife sez the only reason I shoot cast bullets is so I can cast new ones and then reload. She right!!!

They are apparently out now, but Outdoor Marksmen sells Miwall 200gr LRN for about $16/50 with new brass. They now have an East Coast warehouse in addition to their original West Coast location.
