I've found a few older threads on the short bbl ammo from Speer. Anybody using it for a short bbl .44? I'm looking for SD ammo for a 3" .44 and am wondering if you guys have experience with this ammo. Pro/con, thoughts appreciated.

Although their test bbl for the .44 mag is 4".
I haven't shot this ammo yet, but did go through a few boxes of .44 Special ammo and a box or two of full power .44 mag ammo in a new gun today - 629 3". It's like shooting a 9mm with the .44 special ammo. It's a handful with the full power heavier bullets, but still less painful that the 329PD or the 329NG.
If you have any tips for a favorite load (commerical or reload) in a 3" .44, I'd appreciate suggestions.
