44 Special Multi ball defense loads

Hi All!

A while back on this forum a member posted up that he was going to load up some multi-ball loads in 44 special. Then the thread got locked because of some double entendre's that had been used and I don't know if that member ever got around to completing the project.

I thought it was a great idea, so I ordered up a Lee .433 cal round ball mold and some Alox, and when they all finally arrived I got to work and made a video out of it. Sorry it's so long at 28 minutes, but I wanted to cover all the details of how to do it....

Thanks for the video! I may have missed it but what was the spread for one shot? How close together were the points of impact? I haven't tried any multi-ball loads but I have loaded some .432" balls in 44 Magnums, single ball loads.

The spread might be anywhere from 1/2" to 6" shot to shot, at least at 20', which is how far I was shooting.

At 20' the balls for one shot hit anywhere from 1/2" apart to 6" apart? Interesting...
