My son-in-law, his dad, and my grandson and granddaughter went to Heartland Outdoors in Edmond, OK last Sunday. I just had to break out the Buff Classic and make some smoke. Sure gets the attention of everyone else on the range!

One employee shot it, and several other customers wanted a go at it. Lot's of smiles all around.

45-70

The new American Rifleman , showcases the new Henry rifle in 45-70.
I would love to shoot that one , but more than that.... to shoot an old "Sharps Buffalo gun.

I've been shooting "buffalo rifles" for nearly 40 years and still like it each time I pull the trigger! I started with the 45-70 but more and more I find I prefer the 50-70 for shooting. It seems to hit harder and is easier to find an accurate load than the smaller bored, flatter shooting 45-70.
