Not sure if you are interested in a DA revolver, but Ruger still makes a single action convertible model.

I have a Ruger Vaquero with a bird's head grip chambered in 45 ACP. It's single action only, but I really like it. The cylinder is machined so that no moon clips are required. I don't see the bird's head model at Ruger's site anymore. I believe it was a limited run, or "distributor special", but they still show another with the standard cowboy grips.

Did the O.P. mention the S&W Model 325 Thunder Ranch?

There was also the 1950 Target and gthe 1950 Army

I was wondering are there any .45 acp revolvers besides the m1917 by colt and S&W, the S&W 25/625, and the S&W Nightgaurd
The S&W 625 and the .45ACP Night Guard (aka 325NG) both belong to the same "family", being the same frame size (N) out of different materials. The 625 is obviously SS, the 325 is alloy frame. The 325 has been made in several varieties including the Night Guard, Airweight, and Thunder Ranch models, which varried in sights, grips, and barrels but shared the same alloy N-Frame.
