Has anyone ever seen .45 ACP tracer ammo? I have an old box of Remington UMC Kleanbore, red-tipped "TRACER" ammo. Have about 25 rounds remaining in the box and they are in very nice condition.
Can anyone tell me the approximate year of manufacturer and approximate value?
Thanks!

Didn't Hornady come out with some improved variety of tracers a few years back? It seems like they quit making them.

I don't recall Hornady offering those but they may have.

That photo showing the M26 round is spot-on, although these are in a commercial (not military) box. The box has a paper label (factory applied) that says "TRACER" in all caps. I'm guessing these particular shells are from the 40s or 50s.

Thank you both the response!

You can presently get SBR tracer ammo in several calibers, one being 45 ACP. I have seen it sold at Cheaper Than Dirt for one but they aren't inexpensive there. The availability is spotty also but I have purchased some in 9MM and .22 LR from CTD in the past.
