Powder choice will be my concern? As I know some of this info has been covered before. Iam changing(from .380 G42/B. PICO. BERSA/mostly W/WIN231/B.E.) over to begin reloading the 185grainers.(Have enough loaded! 2000)Power Pistol is what I would like to use but I m thinking B.E.? I have 1000 rnds. cleaned brass ready for: XDS3.3 45 and S&W model 645. Any input would be apprc.

the hap bullet is just an xtp without the skiving. power pistol for the faster loads, bullseye for the slower loads. if you have the hornady reloading manual, start in the middle of the load table and work up.

luck,

murf

Thanks MERF just chompen at the bit to see whats going on if anything w/the HAP's? Tuned in the Dillion/P. measure and loaded 30 rnds. off the T.G. recipe on bottle(1lbr.)45acp.5.5 185g.jswc. (Found'em in my inventory) HORNDY. 1.195 c.o.l. 965fps. . Your spot on about P.P. was just looking? Think it might be B.E. for them?

No nibbles on the 185g. HAPs? Ive been so caught up in reloadind for the 380 I don't know if they are even made anymore? The Hornd. SWC did well in the 45 smith. The xds 3.3 very snappy! I procured the 185 HAP's for a good price and probably will do a work up w/Unique or mess w/H/skor800 as I once did? Might have to stack some flakes? I wish I new how to post a pic. ? Im clueless?

Thank you BLUE,going to try to get on general Discussion forum maybe to see what folks are using I guess as when I used photo bucket years ago I must have been using it wrong it listed all my pic's? not good! All my secret spots for catching SLAB Crappie were revealed!:( Crappie .com has a how to post pics I guess im just a dumbie?

You have to use a remote hosting sight to post picture. Then paste the link for forums in with your text.

Actually there's a way to include pics directly. When you post click the "go advanced" button which is below the compose window. (you have to be writing a post to see it). When you do there's a paperclip icon. It let's you upload a couple of pics then include them inline. Once you upload them use the little down arrow to show them and include them.

Here, I'll post one of my pics; click it and you get the larger version:

Thank you Blue and Mongoose! found out there is a sticky on THR from one of our Mods. on how to's . 2lb crappie are good (Had me smiling!):) I have to ad to my post fellas as I pulled out the charge master/dillion manual p. measure and worked up a work-up of power pistol for both 45's. I thought I was going to have to order a set of 45 dies for my T-7 turret but found one(LEE's) so ive been tweeking the 115teener HAPs in as I like to work them up on it then use my progressive. I have a wireless printer hooked up under our TV and printed all 3 ways on the how two's a big thanks!

I have loaded 185 gr plated bullets with Power Pistol. I believe 6 5 gr was what I settled on. I shot them over a chronograph, but don't remember the fps off the top of my head. I can post it when I get to my records.

I have 1k 185 gr XTP's that I got free with my LnL. I never bothered to load them. It seemed like a waste for shooting paper and steel. I have thought more than once about selling them and using the money to buy 2k cast 185 gr SWC.

Colt tanks for the info as I was purchasing a new gun my LGS dealer had got them on accident according to him. He had asked me if I wanted them for I believe it was 70.00$ per. 500 rnds. so I took the 1000. for the snappie 3.3XDS wonder iff the will work out a lil. better?
