Gents,
I know in a 44 and 357 lever action one can use 44 and 38 special ammo. Is there a magnum caliber 45 lever gun for which 45 Colt would be a useable short round? One in 454 perhaps? Pardon my ignorance on this subject as I am mainly into semi-autos. I was admiring a friends 45-70 lever gun, though, and wondered if anything in 45 was multi-caliber to allow for cheaper plinking.
