Does a cartridge like this exist? I'm wondering about a good upper for an AR-10 upper similar to the .50 beowulf upper, but on a .308 platform. With such a platform, you've got a good short range punch with a 20+ round mag!

Or am I asking for an answer to a pointless question?

Are you sure about that Krochus? I thought the .45 Win Mag was a pistol round chambered in a beefed-up 1911 platform?

Ah, I see, I see. I wonder if .45 super is made the same way?

I may be wrong but, I believe that 45 super is just a 45ACP +p case loaded to insane pressures

Is the .45 win mag a belted magnum?

.458 win mag is a belted magnum intended for dangerous game and is just short enough to fit in a long action bolt gun
.45 win mag is essentially a long 45 acp

I believe AMEETEC is in the process of making a .45acp lower that takes grease gun magazines. You might want to get contact with them and let them know if you are interested. You might be the one that pushes them over the minimum order requirement and into actual production.

Edit
Sorry, you said AR10. They are considering it for an AR15...and .45acp is far from a high power cartridge if that is what you are after.

I will leave my post up just for internet searches.
