.45 Colt Gold Dot HP's.

FYI,

I just received a couple boxes of 250gr .45 Colt Speer GDHP's that I ordered from Cheaper Than Dirt. These things are impressive, at least by looking at them. They have a very large cavity, that combined with a 250gr chunk of lead at 900fps should be perfect for protection. I haven't shot them yet but I will when the weather warms a little. (can't stand indoor ranges).

BTW, I ordered them the evening of Thursday the 1st, I received them today, Saturday the 3rd at 11:00 AM, normal ground shipping. They send a confirmation order to your e-mail with Fed-Ex tracking included. An updated tracking e-mail comes daily. Very good service.

I would love to see that round gel block tested. I'd bet that would be impressive.

ditto on the gelatin and CTD. shot some in my 3.75" vaquero very accurate and recoil is not bad
