Hello, I ordered coated bullets (200 & 250 gr rnfp) from Acme and Missouri Bullet Company. I have a Lee carbide 4 die set. It works fine with Hornady XTPs. I have never loaded coated or lead bullets.
I have read some folks don't like the Lee FCD for lead, others no problems . Does the bullets being coated make any difference? Thanks in advance.

I have the 4 die carbide sets from Lee for .357, .41, and .44 magnums. I've loaded coated lead for all 3 calibers and used the FCD for all of them. No issues. You shouldn't have any problems.

If they have a crimp groove you can roll crimp into it with any brand die with a roll crimp, and whether the bullet is coated or un-coated makes little to no difference.

I load .45 Colt and use the Lee factory crimp die and have had zero issues. I have used lead and coated bullets. Let us know how it goes!
