well this morning I took out my rossi circuit judge as I bought a box of 45 colt at bass pro in okc yesterday wow shells are high at nearly a $1 a shot but I was gonna get reloading supplies to reload 45 colt but they were sold out of stuff so I went with a box of shells but anyway the federal American eagle in 225gr jacketed flat point worked very well this morning so I hope to get some brass dies bullets etc, to help cut the costs down and a mec 600jr in 410 as well :scrutiny: but I love this little carbine its just fun to shoot :D

if this is your first pass at reloading metalics, you could not have picked a better place to start than 45 Colt. Big straight wall cartridge, easy to handle, a WIDE variety of loads (no RUGER ONLY loads in that Rossi now!!).

Once you have the brass, reloading will be about 17 to 25 cents a round. A LOT cheaper than buying retail!

yes I agree well to tell you the truth been reloading about 20 years now but I didn't have any stuff for the 45 colt plus want a mec 600jr 410 loader as well to really cut costs down I load now for several other calibers but just got this circuit judge on the 4th of this month so wanna work on gettin stuff to load both the pistol and shotgun rounds as I found I really like this rifle/shotgun carbine in fact took it out the other morning and harvested a squirrel with it with 2 1/2in #8 shot as this gun patterns number 8's very well so it worked great :D

I have a Ruger Vaquaro .45 that I'm going to learn how to reload on. Love that cartridge!
