I love 45 Colts. Rugers, Ubertis, Piettas, whatever. I bought this one yesterday and kind of like it. This is a Traditions (Pietta) Bill Tilghman model. Pretty sure Tilghman didn't carry such a revolver but it is nice that Traditions realizes there is more to the West than Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and the OK Corral. I know laser engraving may be anathema to many of you but I think on this revolver it was 45 Colt.jpg fairly well done.

I like it. Very elegant looking shooting iron. I prefer the S&W Model 3 myself, but that is a really good looking pistol.

Pretty! Just the right amount of engraving to make it special.

I had a Uberti 4 5/8” .45C several years ago, but sold it to a friend as a range-carry piece when he moved to his land up in Idaho. I kept my shiny stainless old Vaquero .45C, I just couldn’t go without one in the stable.
.

It’s a great round, and that’s a great looking sixgun! Let us know how it shoots for you.

Stay safe.

I like it too! A fine looking revolver! The engraving is very subtle and to me adds to the appearance of the gun; not overpower or detract from it, even with all of the coverage.

I do not know that Uncle Billy Tilghman ever had an engraved revolver. I do know that he taught my Uncle Carroll to shoot a pistol, 'long about 1920. Uncle Carroll taught me. He'd say, "I'd say, 'Uncle Billy, I can't hold it still.' And Uncle Billy would say, 'It don't have to be steady. It just has to be on target BANG! when it goes off.:"
