.454 Casull/.45 Colt Interchangability

Question--can .45 Colt be used in a .454 Casulll rifle reliably?

as far as I know, yes.

The only issue I know of is in very tight Freedom Arms revolvers in .454 Casull, it was suggested that .45 Colt be kept to a minimum due to fouling problems. I don't believe that would apply to a levergun anyway.

I regulalry shoot 45LC through my Puma 454 lever-action. I've never had a malfunction, but I will say that 45LC doesn't cycle quite as well as 454.
