I've never owned a Smith & Wesson semi, but just made arrangements to get one of the 4566TSW's from the department I work for. My LEO's all state the gun is accurate and reliable as long as its clean. I won't lie, I'm buying it more for my Department's markings on the gun as it has 85th anniversary engraving on it that will match my department 870. The one I have ordered is in near mint condition and very well kept. I am thinking of putting it into service as a carry gun. Do any of you have any thoughts? I know holsters are a bit troublesome to find, but I already located one that will serve my needs. I won't be sending it back to S&W for the rail removal as I want to keep it in department spec.
