One of my favorite loads is 6.5 grains Power Pistol under a 255 gr SWC in my 625 Revolver. I do usually use Auto Rim brass, but 45 auto brass would be fine. I love it when those who have never done it jump all over an issue they have no knowledge of. The load i quoted basically gives you 45 Colt ballistics. You would be better off with the mid range speed powders. I would stay away from Bullseye for this application.
