.45ACP upper on PSA 9mm lower?

PSA said they haven't tried it. They did say that both lowers were dimensionally the same. I have one of th their Colt 9mm mag lowers, which uses the same mags as an Uzi, but slightly modified. I'm wondering if anyone has put one of their AR-45 uppers on the 9mm lower. .45 ACP uzi mags are available. I'd love to put one on my SBR'd lower.

Buy a mag and see if it fits in your lower. Easiest way to know is to try...

I know the mag will fit. I have one. My question is, will the upper and lower work together.

You may be in a better position to try it than most folks.

If the mag fits, you are already 90% there.

Blaze that trail! You may need a heavier buffer and/or spring due to the recoil impulse differences between 9mm and .45 ACP ammo, but if they all line up give it a whirl and let us know how it works.

Worst case scenario your building another lower. Go for it.

Right now, I'm rebuilding a 1967 Triumph Bonneville, which takes the gun money. PSA doesn't have any .45 stuff in stock, so I guess I'll have to wait a bit. Rule 41 has really put a cramp in my smuggling new NFA stuff into the house.
