5.45 x 39 Upper

I am sure this has been covered but the search was not working, I am trying to find out what the cheapest 5.45 x 39 Upper is for an AR 15, I would prefer it to be a 16" flat top but it really does not matter. The only ones I have seen were the ones made by Alexander Arns, and a rumor that S&W is making one I am sure that there are other makers I have just not been able to find them. Please let me know who else makes them and your expeirances with them

I think, at the moment, Alexander Arm's production from a few years ago is the only game in town. They discontinued them a while back due to the lack of interest at the time.

S&W has a version coming out soon. I believe a thread from a while back on here said that Alexander Arms announced at the SHOT Show that they're putting the Genghis back into production. Teppo Jutsu (the 458 Socom guys) also supposedly have a 5.45mm version in the works -- I think their website says technical quirks have been sorted out and production is on the way.

There may be other manufacturers planning on producing them soon, but the long and the short is that no one is making a 5.45x39 upper right now.
