Both knives are beautiful, but I especially like the second one.
 
I like the second one a lot too. Beautiful.

Nice knife. I like the one on the bottom. The dagger is nice too, but seeing as I'm not a knife fighter, I don't generally have a use for daggers.
 
Even if I anticipated needing a killing knife, I wouldn't go double-edged. Single edged blades are stronger and more versatile, even for social purposes.

Even if you are lacking in dedicated defensive tools, going knife vs. knife is a Bad Thing. If you were to do this, though, using a single-edged blade would be safer for the defender.
