This was a fun hunt from last evening. We started off the night returning to a property we had not hunted in months as it had changed residents. We did a demo of our gear while the landowner explained what had been going on and she turned us loose after explaining the while hogs were the primary problem, coyotes were also unwanted (we watched two with her during our demo).

Lessons Reemphasized include always keeping situational awareness and that while hogs may go down, sometimes they need a little additional help to stay down.

Thanks guys! I get together with Dave once or twice a month and we try to cover his properties or mine where we do hog/predator control for landowners. He is a good hunter and I value my chances to hunt with him, but unfortunately, he lives 2 hours away. This happened to be a particularly fun hunt I thought I would share.
