50 AE revolver

I went shooting yesterday. Had a blast. Pun intended.

One of the guys brought a 50AE revolver. Made a lot of noise. It belonged to his father. Was made from a Ruger blackhawk with a replacement barrel and cylinder. Downright impressive.

Was it a Bowen conversion? Drool.... How was the recoil compared to a 44mag in the same gun?

the guy whose place we were shooting at was not thrilled with the noise it was making, so only 6 rounds were popped off. I don't know who did the conversion, but it was pretty. maybe I can find out.
