I am going to buy a case of ammo I am leaning towards Alexander 350 gr XTP my runner up is 335 gr xtp. Deer won't know the difference I realize. I just wonder if anyone here has used a beowulf hunting and what they have used. And theres also a 500 gr option :) go big or go home...

I roll my own but I like the 335 grain bullets. The XTP’s never really expanded well for me in the wulf, I think because there is just not enough velocity but then again how much does .50 cal need to expand?
I preferred the Rainier 335 grain HP’s in my hand loads.

I have done a lot of hunting with the wulf, makes for a nice pig rifle.

I ordered some 335 gr rainer

Awesome, mix those with 36.2 grains of Hogdon Lil’gun and CCI magnum handgun primers and you will have a devistating highly accurate load. A good friend developed that load and was kind enough to share it. From the first round I tried out of mine I was sold.
Enjoy!
