ok im a newbie to reloading, the main reason for my interests of reloading are because my next gun will be a .50 cal. and after shooting my 30-06 a lot this summer i figured out i would be cheaper and more effective to begin reloading. i need to know who makes a press and die set that will allow me to reload .50 BFG, and 30-06, since those will be my main reloads?

You bet you can, it's easy and don't take no time at all. You'll love the setup.

hey deavis that set up from rcbs looks sweet. do you know a price on that or where the best shopping is? thanks

ahh found it... thanks anyhow.

do you think this one comes with the dies? http://www.grafs.com/fc/product/11927

haha edited for the 3rd time... nope thats just the press.

since im a begginer i think i will purchase this one http://www.grafs.com/metallic/product/7131 seems good to start with. opinions???

I assume (Damn! I should never assume anything :D ) you purchased two or three manuals with that press. You know...Like Lyman #48 or Speer #13.... :scrutiny:

As far as I know Hornady and Barnes makes 50 cal BMG bullets and I have both manuals.

I have the Hornaday setup and it is pretty sweet. The press is the same design as the RCBS but the die setup is superior IMO.

RCBS trim die is not used by many folks in the 50 BMG world. The dedicated case trimmer for the cartridge is much faster....I have a Lyman Acculine and it works pretty well. If you are planning on processing a LOT of cases (like for Ma Deuce) I'd look into a power trimmer.

Lots of good 50 BMG information over on Biggerhammer if you are looking for loading info and tips.

+1 for the lee setup works great!!
Had a ammo master :( .035 run out at the top of stroke!! Called rcbs well it's in tollerance [not to me it aint] Returned it 4 credit on a rockchucker supreme :)...
