well, i broke down and finally got me a press!! now i need dies!
plan to reload 44mag, 357mag, 38super, 9mm and 380acp for pistols...
and 30-30, 30-06, and 7.62x39 for my rifles...

so heres my question...
can i use the same dies for the 380acp,9mm and the 38supers?
and how bout for the rifles loads?
or will i just have to buy 6 sets of dies?
i already the 44carbide and a 38/357 sets.

thanks!!!

same dies for the 380acp,9mm and the 38supers?
Nope.
All different cases.

Same with the rifle calibers you listed.
All completely different case dimensions.

If you bought .44 Spl dies they will also load .44 Magnum.
If you bought .44 Magnum dies, maybe they will, and maybe they won't depending on who made them and how long ago.

Be sure to get carbide dies for the pistol calibers. Also suggest you get the ABCs of Reloading along with at least one manual. After reading, you will have the basic knowledge of reloading and equipment including dies.

www.southwestreloading.com

I think that is the site. Anything past $15 gets free shipping. Anything under is $2 shipping IIRC.

And yes, You will need a different set for each caliber. But you can get the .44 SPCL to do .44 Mag. I would if I was you as you did with the .38/.357. Save yourself another $25 bucks or so this way.

Get them carbide. You will be happy you did.

For rifles, As said above will need their own die sets as well. FL size the brass if it was not shot in your rifle. Then you can neck size them after they have been shot in your rifle.

Speaking of that, I need to get myself some neck sizing dies.
