Here is my Barrett M99. In front from L to R is a .50BMG, 30-06, and .223 to give some scale to the monster size of the 50 round.
She is a fine performer. It came with the Bushnell Elite 3200 on there and I said, "Well I'll just shoot it until it dies."
200+ Rounds later and it is still holding perfect zero! Maybe I just got a fluke, I don't know. But as long as it keeps working I'm leaving it on there!
I would really like to suppress this thing in the future as the noise and muzzle blast really are pretty offensive, plus suppressed 50's are darn cool!
TIMC-
Nice job, that rifle looks great!
My good friend has a Beowulf that he put together a couple of years ago. This past fall we were at the range together and he had his Beowulf and I hadmy registered M16 with me. Well how could we resist marrying the two up?
So we slapped them together, loaded two mags, one for each of us, and set the selector to the "FUN" position!
Holy recoil and high cyclic Batman! The 5 round mags he had emptied in what appeared to the non shooter as one big bang! I had crappy cell phone video of it but it seems to have vanished. Too bad as their can't be too many Beowulfs that have been run on a full auto lower. I doubt we will do it again, but if we do I'll have my good video cam with me.
