50 Round Glock Magazine?

Just curious, but why ask? I've seen the 33 rounders and those look to be about a foot long. Shove another 17 rounds in there and you'd be pushing 18inches or more. I'd have to mover the table at the range to get enough ground clearance to hold the thing. Although, someone could probably rig something up to use the long magazine as a rest or something. Might be worth trying to find one.

"...you'd be pushing 18inches or..." Nonsense. I have a 20 round mag for my HP. It sticks out of the grip about an inch. Your 50 round mag, if there was one, would be about a foot long.

Sunray do you spend all day searching for threads to either argue with people or just insult them? Either way you seem to be very good at pissing people off.

Measure your 20 round HP mag. I bet it's 6" or longer. so a 40 would have to be over 12" because of the extra spring length. Therefore a 50 rounder would be well over a foot.

The 20 round mag a friend has for his Glock is only an inch or so longer than his 17 round mag (which is flush when inserted. )

A 20 rounder would only add 3 rounds to a stock hi-cap, and its a double-stack mag, at that! Why would it be 6" longer?

The real disadvantage of the BIG magazines (33 - 50 rounds, whatever) is that they're really HEAVY!
