500% ammo tax increase

I didnt see this topic discussed in any other thread so... I heard Obama wants a 500% increased tax on ammo. ***!!!!!

You heard that did you, any citation we can look it up on. Now don't get me wrong, he might well do it, but rather than just trying to stir people up why don't we cite some factual information.

In a nutshell, a throw away remark once about a 500% raise in the current tax on ammunition which is 11%. Tax therefore even if it got in place would be 55%
